Customer Services Manager

   Location:  West London
 Duration:  Permanent
Salary:  £35,000 to £45,000

A fantastic award-winning online travel agents that specialise in providing unique outdoor adventure travel experiences have an amazing career opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Manager CSM to build and lead a growing team and customer services department based from the companies HQ in Chiswick West London.

The main focus of this hands-on role will be to build, mentor and lead a growing team of skilled customer service agents managing the day to day customer service function in line with SLAs of this exciting online adventure travel business. Additionally, you will be required to design and improve innovative processes to deliver the very best service experience for customers at every customer service communication touch-point along the customer journey.

Desirable Experience of the Customer Service Manager

  • 3+ years experience in Customer Services with at least 2 years leading teams as a Customer Service Manager or Senior Customer Service Team Leader or Head of Customer Service
  • Experience as a Customer Service Manager or Head of Customer Service in an Online eCommerce Focused or Online Marketplace / Similar Web Focused business. (Travel Agency experience highly advantageous but not essential)
  • First-class written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience designing customer service journeys, optimizing processes and delivering first-class customer experience.
  • Experience using Customer Services Contact Management CRM / CSM systems
  • Previous experience working in a busy dynamic online start-up business environment
  • A willingness to work occasional weekends in lieu of extra time off for part of the year to cover peak seasonal demand.
