Salary:  £30,000 to £35,000

Customer Service Manager / Operations £25,000 to £35,000 + excellent benefits, SW London, an exciting new technology company that provide a range of unique insurance products to property renters in the UK are looking for a hands on Customer Service Manager to lead the companies customer operations department.

As a newly created position the company are looking for a hands on, highly motivated customer service leader that would relish the opportunity to work in a dynamic fast moving start-up where you are happy to get stuck in on the front line, (answering calls, emails etc) and also on business strategy, (designing and optimizing process, shaping the entire customer service journey from start to finish.)

Ideally we are seeking a candidate that has a minimum of 2 years experience leading teams as an Customer Service Manager or Senior Customer Service Team Leader (ideally in a regulated industry, particularly insurance claims or financial products) although specific industry experience is not essential

This is a fantastic opportunity with huge scope for progression and also the opportunity to work from home for 3 days per week after initial probation.

Desirable Experience of the Customer Service Manager / Operations

  • 2+ years leading teams as an Customer Service Manager or Senior Customer Service Team Leader or Head of Customer Service (ideally in a regulated industry, particularly insurance claims or financial products would be highly advantageous)
  • A degree in English, creative writing or languages
  • experience in a communications or customer service role
  • First-class written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience designing customer service journeys, optimizing processes and delivering first-class customer experience.
  • Experience using Customer Services Contact Management CRM / CSM systems (Zendesk preferable)
  • Previous experience working in a busy dynamic online start-up business or SME environment (preferred not essential)
